Searching may be
conducted in a number of
ways. This section
details how to search
for videos using various
filters. To see more
information about
Phonetic Search and
Speech to Text, see
below.
Begin a search by
clicking on the search
icon located on the left
side of the page.
Searches can be
performed by filling in
any of the search
criteria boxes (country,
language, program names,
program types, stations,
topical categories, date
range, word search), but
starting with country
and/or language
generally produces the
best results. After
making a selection for
any of the criteria,
only the corresponding
options will appear in
the remaining criteria
boxes. The more criteria
that are selected, the
smaller the result set
will be.
If an unwanted selection
is made from one of the
menus, simply highlight
the selection by
clicking on it, and
click "remove."
After the search
criteria have been
selected, click the
search icon at the
bottom of the page. This
will bring you to your
result set page.
If you wish to change
the search criteria
after the search has
been completed, click
"search" on the left
side of the page. The
search panel will show
up with the criteria
that have already been
set. Make any additions
by going to any of the
drop down menus, or
delete by highlighting
and clicking "remove"
button.
Videos that result from
your search are listed
most to least recent. At
the top of the page is
the number of videos
found as well as the
number of pages. Each
page contains references
to 10 videos, and pages
can be navigated either
by entering the desired
page number, or by using
the arrows.
