SCOLA Foreign Text is a collection of publications from all around the world. Select publications are keyword searchable and include a native language transcript and machine-translated English text. Foreign Text can be viewed online or downloaded either in its entirety or by selected pages.

Login. Select the Foreign Text icon on the SCOLA homepage.

Search for publications by country and/or language – searches can be further limited by publication and/or date range.

Search by country: select desired country from the drop down menu. Optional filters of publication and date range will appear. Select a publication if desired, or enter the date range manually (mm/dd/yyyy) or by clicking the calendar icon, and click "search" button.

Search by language: select desired language from the drop down menu. After making a selection, click "search" which will bring up the results. Optional filters of publication and date range will appear. Select a publication if desired, or enter the date range manually (mm/dd/yyyy) or by clicking the calendar icon, and click search button.

During a country/language search Bolded Results indicate searchable publications.

A publication can be viewed online or saved as a Color PDF or B/W PDF

Using OCR Text Search enables searching by keyword in addition to the filters of country, language, publication, and date range. Keyword searches may be conducted in the native language or English if available.
