SCOLA Spoken Word is a forum
for actual audio/video
dialogue between language
learners and SCOLA native
speakers. Spoken Word lets a
user choose "private" to
communicate only with a
native speaker or "public"
to share their dialogue with
other language learners. The
idea is that by having the
opportunity to talk with a
native speaker, language
learners will be able
pick-up on the language
subtleties and non-verbal
language cues of the
language they are learning.
All postings and messages
may be searched by keyword
and sorted by date,
language, country and
subject.

and combine allows educators to conduct a
student-centered environment to meet each learner's
style of internalizing the language studied."
